other purposes. Staff recommends approval. Synopsis: Request for approval to enter into an
Annual Contract with Levy Concrete to provide the Public Works Department
with Ready-Mix Concrete for use in street and sidewalk repairs. The contract will be for one (1)-year from
the date of award, with possible extensions yearly for two (2) additional
years, if agreed by all parties. |

purchase the McFadden Building, located at 615 West Markham Street, for the

7.
RESOLUTION |
To
inform the Arkansas Congressional Delegation of the need for a clear method
to assess Compensating Use Taxes to Internet sales; to note that
approximately $3.9 million in revenues from one of the few revenue sources
available to an Arkansas municipality were lost to the City of Little Rock in
2017 due to the lack of such legislation; and for other purposes. |
CITIZEN
COMMUNICATION Three (3) minutes are allowed to present a specific
item which has not been previously been brought to the attention of the Board
and is not already on the Agenda. This time is allotted for any person to
express a written or oral viewpoint, grievance, or other message to the Board
of Directors. A maximum of thirty (30) minutes is allotted for citizen
communications each meeting. No advance permission is required, but persons
wishing to address the City Board are required to fill out a yellow card
listing the specific subject to be addressed and hand to the City Clerk upon
arrival. Citizen Communication will be held immediately following the Consent
Agenda items on the first Tuesday and at the end of the printed Agenda on the
